we enjoyed dinner and playtime at the little mall while p & k went out for dinner and a movie...
we started our coach tour this afternoon, seeing the sights of Dublin...First stop, the colored doors of Georgian (neo-classical) Dublin. I picked yellow!
This is the garden outside of Dublin Castle. It has a pattern of 2 snakes intertwined together in the center. At night it can be lit up and it serves as a helicopter landing pad. Inside we saw amazing Waterford chandeliers and visited the rooms where the visiting Queens and Kings of England would stay on their visits. Today marks the anniversary of the Easter Uprising in 1916...The British decided to execute all the leaders of the rebellion...now they are martyrs...
St. Patrick's...beautiful. Now we are resting up in our very nice hotel room before a traditional Irish meal and entertainment. Dad is giving up on his minute by minute oversight of my blogging.... :)Mom's turn at selection and posting...
